CSI Lifecycle is the German subsidiary of CSI Leasing, operating in the German and Swiss markets. We specialize in providing organizations with flexible, sustainable, and secure solutions for acquiring, managing, and disposing of their IT assets.
CSI Leasing has a rich history dating back to 1972 when it was founded by four ambitious entrepreneurs as a computer reseller in Oklahoma. Among those founders was Ken Steinback, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, who led the company for several decades. In 1981, CSI made a strategic shift to focus on leasing and relocated its headquarters to St. Louis. Since then, our international presence has grown significantly. In 1995, we opened CSI Leasing Canada, marking the beginning of our global expansion. Today, we employ over 1,500 professionals and operate more than 70 offices worldwide, offering lease financing services in 50 countries.
In 1998, CSI further expanded its service offerings by acquiring EPC Global Solutions, a company specialized in processing end-of-lease equipment. This acquisition allowed us to gain complete control over our end-of-lease process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our customers. Since then, CSI and EPC have worked closely together, combining their expertise to provide our customers with the best lease experience possible. EPC Global Solutions has also grown internationally and is now recognized as one of the world’s leading ITAD providers.
On June 10, 2016, Tokyo Century Corporation (formerly Century Tokyo Leasing) acquired CSI Leasing from Ken and the other employee shareholders. Despite this change in ownership, we remain committed to our core values of delivering personalized attention, robust services, and flexible solutions. With Tokyo Century Corporation’s support, we have expanded our international reach and enhanced our funding capabilities, opening up new opportunities for growth and development.
